CCRN Local

Database

3 met stations: Forest, Buckbrush, and Alpine. Barometric pressure at Alpine station only. Standpipe and Pluvio precip gauges at Buckbrush station only, Pluvio gauges installed in 2013. Geonor gauges installed in 2007 at Forest and in 2010 at Buckbrush and Alpine. Data loss is a common problem during the early winter due to loss of power at stations. The Buckbrush standpipe is a pressure sensing precipitation gauge that broadcasts data every 3 hours in real-time; also in real-time are extra air temperature, snow depth, soil moisture, and incoming shortwave radiation sensors at Buckbrush.
